Hadrian's Gate, which is among the places to visit in Muratpaşa, is one of the important historical structures of the district. The building, which is easily accessible due to its location in the district center, is within the borders of Barbaros District.

The structure, which was built during the visit of the Roman emperor Hadrianus to the region, was built in M.S. It is dated to the year 150. The building, which was gifted to the emperor, has managed to reach the present day in a very solid way. There is an inscription written in the Latin alphabet on the building, which was built between the city walls around the district. The statues depicting the emperor and his family at the entrance of the building, which clearly reflects the architectural features of the period in which it was built, also attract attention
